Thierry Boutsen brings Michel Vaillant to the race track!

Great news ! 

The Boutsen Ginion Racing team, competing in the GT World Challenge Endurance Cup since 10 years, will have the privilege to harbor the colors of driver Michel Vaillant, made famous by his creator Jean Graton.

The comic strip, created in 1957, which has inspired many race drivers and people has a total of 79 comic books and is translated into 10 languages.

The Boutsen Ginion team’s BMW M6 GT3 will pay tribute to two great gentlemen of Belgian motorsport, Jean Graton and Jean Blaton, a great car collector.

Thierry Boutsen, the last Belgian driver to win 3 Formula 1 Grand Prix, is behind this beautiful project carried out with “Graton Editeur” and the Boutsen Ginion Racing team.

More than a fresco, it is an Art Car moving at 280 kph: the racing car is the art piece that will make you listen to the roar of the engines with a large Wrooarrr, characteristic of the car sounds from Jean Graton’s comics.

The BMW M6 GT3 Boutsen Ginion will participate in the GT World Challenge Endurance Championship. It will participate in the prestigious 24 hours of Spa-Francorchamps race in the GT3 category from July 28th to August 1st, 2021.

The drivers: Karim Ojjeh, Jens Klingmann and Jens Liebhauser.

April 16th-18th : Monza, Italy

May 28th-30th : Paul Ricard, France

July 28th-August 1st: 24 hours of Spa-Francorchamps, Belgium

September 3rd-4th : Nurburgring, Germany

October 8th-10th : Barcelona, Spain

Let’s go to Monza 16-17-18 April for the first round of GT World Challenge and for the first races of Lamborghini Super Trofeo where our team will be competing with 2 cars.
